Is it too late to go back to school?

Ask any adult, and a good majority if not all of them will tell you how they would never go back to school. I am included in this, and it would take some sort of miracle to persuade me to re live my school days.

University on the other hand were the best 3 years of my life so far (excluding this year when I got married). Yeh sure the stress of writing about 10 essays and 10 exams a year, and writing a 10,000 word dissertation can be a very stressful time….but 2 years after graduation, I am starting to miss learning new things.

I looked at my old revision notes on intellectual property law the other day, and thought to myself, Wow I did this…I wrote all these notes and understood each case and each statute, and I was able to write a 2 hour exam on it all…..or was it 3? With that memory of achievement, I booked myself 30 weeks of beginners italian. This is a dream I have always had to learn Italian, and now finally I have struck up the courage to get some lessons and I can’t wait! Is it weird that I am actually looking forward to getting homework?

In my opinion it is never too late to learn new things, and I hope I will never lose that feeling. I have a hunger to learn…..so 3 years from now, who knows where I will be.
